"Echoes of Longing: Embracing Self-Love"
In solitude's embrace, I stand,
A seeker in a barren land,
Loneliness whispers in the breeze,
A yearning heart, a desperate plea.
I long for love's gentle touch,
A connection that would mean so much,
To be seen, valued, understood,
In love's embrace, I wish I could.
Through starlit nights and empty days,
I search for love's inviting ways,
A beacon in the darkest night,
To guide me to love's tender light.
But within this ache, I find my might,
A journey to self-love takes flight,
For in embracing who I am,
I'll find the love that's not a sham.
Though loneliness may cast its spell,
I'll learn to love myself so well,
And in this journey, I will see,
The love I crave begins with me.
